The game on Sat against Grasshoppers was upto its usual standard and played in good spirits with no bloodshed apart from Canadian Gary, first return to the pitch running into one of our star and key players Ben. He needed 5 stitches and went off the pitch. That left us without a scrum half and some very interesting options sat no 10.

We did in the end manage to get the ball over the 10 metre line from kick off with the discovery of Steve Crosson as a very good kicker!

Other discoveries included Rene, the French centre on lease lend and the arrival at no 10 of Steve M and also Clarkie. Both did rather well and we were unlucky to loose by the margin of 20 points.

Good defence was put in all the time with great play by David U. who in fact was the man of the match. Unfortunately, the award hade been left at home but he was still presented a trophy from the shelf…could we have it back !

This week we should have a good balanced side out as many players are back for this trophy game against Grasshoppers.
