Hi Chaps
VERY IMPORTANT!!! I want you to be at our 30th anniversary summer hog roast party and help me round off our 30th season..it would make this old duffer very happy to see all those old faces and of course our new ones enjoying this special evening I have arranged for you.
This is our 30th year and it has been a cracking year and my report will be out soon
However, 30 year of starting and running The Bulldogs is something very precious to me and to see so many of you enjoying the game but also making firm new life long friendships makes every Saturday I am out there in whatever capacity so very worthwhile indeed.
THE EVENING OF SAT 9TH JUNE IS THE DATE AND THIS IS GOING TO BE A VERY TRENDY AND UPMARKET AFFAIR ON THE SAME LOVELY LINES AS OUR CHRISTMAS LUNCH
No jeans ..no sloppy gear and in fact Ian has suggested linen suits….dress up for the occasion and make this an evening that you and your partner will never forget.
We are having a very well known Stockbridge company that are well respected and provide a first class event….this will be a hog roast evening and they supply plates, and all cutlery,… they stay with us for the evening helping out by running the bar so you can all enjoy yourselves
The garden will be light with garden lights and tables and seats will be supplied and of course we will have the usual croquet competition
The bar will provide a good Punch and ample supply of drinks and also soft drinks.
This is a big effort and a large expense BUT it will only cost you and your guest £5 per head !!!!The Bulldog funds will be used to subsidise this event.
HOWEVER we have committed ourselves to a minimum of 50 as per our Christmas lunch and we are looking forward to you all joining us on this very special and unique occasion…only 30th anniversary
Try and make this big day a very special day …I am being selfish but only you can make my day
It would be good to see the old faces as we did at Christmas it made it that special…but where is Woodsie and a few of the others …..
See what you can do chaps and please let me have an idea asap as we are committed to 50 and that means it is a financial commitment we have made to bring you a fantastic evening!!
