Running a little behind today but photos attached compliments of Iron man, look good but has missed the action shots of Lord Lenthall’s return to the pitch last Sat.
I though he had a great game ..adding that extra speed and experience to the side…did you see his quick reaction to a pass….just managed to avoid it! The scooter did help him to get down to the pitch but he was so absent minded he was on the wrong side of the pitch to go through the tunnel and could never had made it by the time it was all over!! Prattish thing for Lord Lenthall to do!!
It was a good game against a very experienced bunch of forwards all ex 1st team and vets ..We could do very little against this type of pack and our outsides could not get any decent ball…we hade the beating of the side but without good ball we had no way through. They had a giant in the lineout and that did not help and they were very good at the rolling maul. However, we did manage to get a game for the 19 players who turned up and we had a good session back at The White Swan even though the landlord had booked din two other parties at the same time as we returned !!!
