A very good effort played with great Bulldog spirit...we never give in..... We found ourselves at Vandals ground and their 2nd team had been cried off...they then said they had 5 subs!!! A complete con by the third team skipper.

However,not much we could do about it and we were missing one or two of our speed guys...Jamies was on the touchline with Darcy recovering from a gym injury whilst using the abductor machine.... Sticky Stu was also on "other business"

But off we went and it was great to see our forwards taking charge of the game with numerous charges led by Mark and ( Bull) Paterson ands to see our forwards all in full cry was very stimulating. Tom (Woodsie) was all over the park tacking and more to the point sorting out his opposite number in the front row. We had a superb front five that enabled us to get good ball for Mike( Crocodile Dundee ) Buckley at scrum half.

Roger at No 10 had a good day with his line kicking and the tacking of Matt at centre was quite awesome.Mike ( steel Man ) bianchi put in some good tackles and runs but there was no way through the Vandals 2nd team outside line!

Ross battered few players around and Martin had a good run on the wing and almost made it....Nick was also stopped short of the line.

But for the tenacious tackling by the whole side the score would have been much higher than the four tries . the moral victory was beyond any doubt with us and if we had played the side we were scheduled to then we would have had a good win.

man of the match was a tough one but Woodsie just tipped it but it was hard call.

Great to see players back like mark ( bull ) Paterson ands seeing 17 stone charging at the line is awesome. Good to have you back.

Martin is coming on well on the wing and beginning to make regular sorties close to the line.
